Jey is the Principal Electrical Engineer and Team Lead for the Energy Transformation Services (ETS) team at C&W. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the urban development industry, specialising in power infrastructure design and project management, and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
As an extension of his work, he has presented at national conferences and regularly supports Western Australian universities through speaking engagements and presentations to future students on power systems and sustainability through energy.
He has led private microgrid design and documentation, and advocates for future residential and commercial developments to include studies into the integration of large-scale solar PV and battery storage systems. These solutions have the potential to reduce network augmentation costs and deliver long-term energy cost savings for end users. Jey is well placed to assist any developer in considering and implementing sustainable solutions within their projects.
