As a key collaborator on Stockland’s Nara development, Cossill & Webley has been proud to support the delivery of this innovative urban renewal development. We have been involved since due diligence stage, assisting Stockland with the acquisition, detailed design of all civil and electrical elements and superintending the demolition, remediation, earthworks, civil and electrical works.

Comprising over 200 architecturally designed townhouses, Nara emphasizes future-ready sustainability with every all-electric home featuring integrated solar PV systems, battery storage, and a 7-Star NatHERS rating, significantly reducing energy costs and carbon footprint for residents.

Beyond the homes, the project’s masterplan fosters a connected and vibrant community through over 7,500 square metres of lush public space, including walkable green links, communal gardens, BBQ areas, and a unique “yarn circle,” all while actively repurposing materials like karri timber and bricks for street fencing and seating as part of a circular economy initiative.

This thoughtful blend of eco-conscious design, modern convenience just moments from South Beach and Fremantle, and a strong focus on shared spaces makes Nara a pioneering example of sustainable urban renewal.
