Millers Row

Millers Row

Millers Row is a 71-townhouse development located in South Morang, a fast-growing suburb just 25km north-east of Melbourne’s CBD. The architecturally designed homes are set within a well-connected, vibrant community, supported by strong transport infrastructure and local amenities.

Cossill & Webley worked closely with Peet, the architect, and the builder, to create an earthworks and lot benching strategy that minimised costs of the home-build, while providing each home with its own distinct elevation amongst the overall design.

To enhance vehicle access, Cossill & Webley delivered a new signalised intersection onto Plenty Road, providing safe and direct entry to the estate. This is complemented by excellent public transport access, with the newly constructed Middle Gorge train station located just 200 metres from Millers Row.

A key engineering challenge for the project was the delivery of the estate’s drainage basin, which required a connection to existing drainage infrastructure within the rail corridor. Cossill & Webley worked alongside Peet and the specialist rail consultant to successfully facilitated the connection after extensive liaison and negotiation with Transport for Victoria, VicTrack, and Metro Trains Melbourne.

Millers Row showcases Cossill & Webley’s ability to deliver technically complex solutions through collaboration and innovative, site-responsive design.
