Hartman Drive

Cossill & Webley was engaged by the City of Wanneroo to deliver the detailed design for the duplication of Hartman Drive, spanning 2km between Hepburn Avenue and Gnangara Road.

The scope of works included the design of key road infrastructure elements such as street lighting, stormwater drainage, and shared-use footpaths and cycleways to support active transport.

During construction, Cossill & Webley was also tasked with a design modification, replacing the original concrete footpath with a dual-use asphalt path to better suit community needs and site conditions.

A key challenge addressed during the project was the management of uncontrolled fill and deleterious material found beneath the proposed road. Our team provided responsive, practical solutions to ensure construction proceeded efficiently and in line with design intent.
