Eglinton Village
Eglinton Village is a carefully considered Cedar Woods development setting a new benchmark for sustainable community living. At its heart is Eve (Eglinton Village Energy, a Zenith Energy subsidiary), WA’s first community energy sharing network. This cutting-edge energy network will support over 1,200 homes, combining 4.4MW of rooftop solar with a 6MWh battery storage system to enable community-wide energy sharing.
Residents who opt in enjoy an estimated 20% saving on electricity compared to standard rates and a significantly lower carbon footprint. The microgrid is designed to deliver at least 50% renewable energy.
More than just energy-smart, Eglinton Village is built for connection and convenience, with plans for a future primary school, local shopping centre, parks, and walking trails all just minutes from the coast and Eglinton Train Station. It’s a future-focused, connected lifestyle in one of Perth’s most exciting new communities. Cossill & Webley has been proud to contribute our civil and electrical engineering services to the project from project inception through to delivery phase.
