Peel Business Park

Cossill & Webley is proud to support the ongoing development of Peel Business Park, having delivered all engineering works on the project since inception in 2008. Our involvement has included successful delivery of design and contract administration services for major offsite infrastructure, including electrical, water and wastewater systems. We have also overseen two phase of upgrades to the existing Lakes Road and Gull Road, along with the earthworks and civil works for the first two stages of industrial subdivision.

Located in Nambeelup, Western Australia, Peel Business Park is a transformational industrial precinct setting new standards for sustainable and innovative development. As a centerpiece of the 35-year ‘Transform Peel’ project, the park is designed to create new industries and thousands of jobs with a strong emphasis on agri-innovation.

A key feature is Australia’s first renewable energy industrial microgrid, powered by a 1.2MW ground-mounted solar farm and a 2.5MWh battery storage system. This innovative energy solution reduces reliance on traditional infrastructure, offers businesses cost savings of up to 30% on electricity, and delivers a reliable and sustainable power supply with at least 50% renewable energy content.

Beyond its energy prowess, the park is home to the Western Australian Food Innovation Precinct and Australia’s first Bushfire Centre of Excellence, positioning it as a nationally significant hub for research, development, and environmentally responsible industrial activity.
