Stock Road Upgrade

The Stock Road Upgrade and Extension is a landmark infrastructure project delivered by the City of Swan with the engineering expertise of Cossill & Webley. Spanning 4.3 kilometres, the upgrade strengthens the vital link between Tonkin Highway and Great Northern Highway, improving transport efficiency and safety for the growing Bullsbrook community.

Key features include the transformation of the previously uncontrolled T-intersection at Great Northern Highway and Stock Road into a new roundabout, realignment of the Railway Parade and Stock Road intersection, installation of new railway crossing to match the new level, and specially designed intersection stubs have been constructed to accommodate large vehicles. Additionally, a new bridge over Ellen Brook forms part of the upgrade, improving traffic flow and safety throughout the area.

Cossill & Webley led both the preliminary and detailed design and provided specialist technical support during construction, ensuring the project’s smooth delivery.

This transformative project now offers safer, more reliable access for residents, businesses, and freight operators, supporting Bullsbrook’s ongoing growth and regional development.
